Storage refers to the media and methods used to keep information available for later use. Random Access Memory (RAM) is a type of data storage used in computers. With RAM, information and data can be found and retrieved quickly. RAM is used as "main memory" or primary storage: the working area used for loading, displaying and manipulating applications and data. |
